Sharing relationship info's with your parents

We, Muslims all know that it's haram to date, but lets face it more than half of the Muslims commit this sin. I recently watched a documentary called  "strictly soul mate Muslims" were three ideal candidate find spouse. What I found disturbing they call it modern arrange marriage. They let the man and women meet for hours or so where she moves around him and talks to him. Now if we do act halal and all who gave you the right to serve food  and bend facing your bottom on his way. I am sorry but I find that highly disturbing and unreligious. 

The second point is some people I know actually inform their parents the  guy they met and who they are dating. I am not saying don't inform your parents, but what happens when the relationship ends. And you meet another and another and another one. I find it little bit out of respect for the parents. Make sure he/she is the one before you introduce  him/her to your parents. Just because your parents know that you are seeing someone doesn't make it halal for you to goof off. They actually have to be there when you meet him/her and how many of our youth actually do that. You're on the phone let your parents be on the line. How many of us do that, LET BE HONEST THOUGH.
 Some time relationship are like the cold, they are just going around. You really need to know which on is cold and which one is cancer.

My driving techniques

How to over come my driving fear. I can drive when I have someone with me. Unfortunately, I haven't driven by myself. but I need to drive my self to school. So I gave my self one month. By February 14 I must be able to drive myself .

So, I will start it with small steps. Tomorrow I will first time drive a car by myself lol. I won't go far just around the block. I will do that for 3 or 2 days

Islamic Dating Site

 For privacy reasons, I will not mention the name of the site, but I have recently joined Islamic dating site, nothing serious. I have always had this mentality, I thought people that join dating site are either old and never married, divorced, or unattractive lets face it, Alhamdulilah the creation of Allah swt is so beautiful, but we don't look the same. And their is legitimate reason behind it.

I happen to be right, most of them  are desperate I have joined the site 3 days ago which took 24 hours to process, I was officially there for 2 days, you cannot imagine how many messages I got. And No I did  not put any picture up. No income was mentioned, nor education. So I don't really see what would drive them to send me a message.

What I discovered is that the website tells you the newly joined. So they just sit there and wait for the new people and send them bunch of messages. And most of them were in their late 40 or 50. I did write  my real age in there, which is 3 times younger than theirs. 

My question now is, if these people are really looking of a soul mate. Why target the younger ladies. Would you not want someone that has the  same mentality as you. I am not saying younger = un-mature, but lets face it, it will always be hard for both of you to function well in a relationship if you have such a wide age gap. 

Then I thought maybe they're there to have fun. Just talk to someone in Halal way (that what they say, don't ask me) 

I don't want to give a negative view about online dating ,I mean some of them did look serious. But there are few that are just NOT-SO SERIOUS.

If you are going to join one of them and you're serious about it, watch out for the players. You will be surprised.

If you are going to do it, do it with the right intention. 

Why I started blogging

When ever I read other blogs, it just reminds me of why I started blogging in the first place. I enjoy so much to see, my blog friends disappear and reappear their life changed, whether they graduated or got married, or had a baby, took a vacation. It's just nice to keep up with their life and see them grow as the person.

I usually envy them and I proud of them at the same time, even though I don't know them as a person. It's always nice to see people doing something good with their life.

October update

WOW, it's over already ? really, it's me or did it fly by. Alhamdulilah it was a good month, Got to go home and spend Eid with the family which was fantastic. 

I started working yeey, that is a good thing lol. I'm making Money. Even though I am transferring spring 2013 can't wait. Dorm lifestyle  is a life I can not take.  Speaking of dorm. I recently started a blog page titled " Life in University for Muslims girls" :)

September update

September was a busy busy busy month. When Ramadan ended school started, right after that my sister got married on September 1st, it was a great night alhamdulilah everything went well with the help of Allah swt. Alhamdulilaah,it was a great month, We all miss her. May Allah bless her house with love and care, and little cute/healthy babies. :)

Last week, September 20th was my Birthday, since I was away from home, that week I figured it would be a boring birthday, and I felt old.. :) but my dear friends had a surprise birthday dinner for me. Over all it was a great day, And I ask swt for another blessed year, May I reach the next year.

So, I went back to  University, great school. But some how it's really depressing. So, I decide to transfer  next semester and stay home. Allah swt know the best. But I hope they accept my pray me ...

I am back !!

I haven't blog for a while, the main reason being, I just don't have time to sit and write any more. I guess the older you get the more complicated your life gets, and more responsibility falls on you.

With that been said, I will try to fit blogging in my crowded schedule, as the fall semester begins. The summer session were busier than I expected to be honest, and Ramadan coming along, I barely have time for my self. 

Any who Insha'Allah I will have a week of freedom, other than packing for Uni. I want to say  Eid Mubarak to all the Muslims around the word, I want to wish you a long and health life. May your fasting and salah and du'a be accepted, may you be among the loved once. With that been said, I am getting ready to start my second year of Uni. Yes, time flies by. Hang in there I will write you my graduation post lol.. Insha'allah. Alhamdulilaah it had been easy process it was fantastic year. And I ask Allah swt to bless me with another fantastic year. 

September is My Bday AND I AM GETTING READY TO GO CRAZY.!!! nothing wild or haram don't get me wrong, But I just want to remember this Birthday. I am usually not a Birthday person but this time I will make sure It's one to remember, May I reach with full health and happiness Insha'allah. Amiin
